Angels Descendants by Seal, J.C.

My rating: 5 fallen stars

I loved Fallen Angels but this sequel is even better!!
It was practically unputdownable!

A new POV with a new cast of characters brings an even more incredible story-line that beautifully complements the previous one.

This time around, instead of Bella we get to meet Jason Tim, a young man who has denied his heritage all his life, calling his father a nutcase and running away from home.
Until one day, when something happens that turns his whole life upside down. He suddenly finds himself on The Chariot, an ancient vessel of the Gods.
And not only that. He is suddenly put in the position of questioning his own sanity.
'This can't be real. Either I'm drugged, hallucinating, or going crazy.'
Because..
'Descendant of Zeus? Accelerated healing? Wings! Now control of electricity? This week was getting increasingly crazy by the minute.'

So Jason is forced to accept his father had told the truth all along. And he resolves to find him. But that's easier said than done. He is hunted by unknown foes, needs to come to terms with the changes in his life, and unravel the mystery of both his own heritage, as well that of his girlfriend, who had been seemingly hired to spy on him.

We get to meet Bella again, and even Vapuliel and Beliel. We find out more of their backstory and damn! I hated Beliel in the beginning but hearing his story here my heart broke for him.

Making use of a unique blend of religion and mythology that's downright amazing, J.C. Seal gives us here a gripping tale full of intense action and strong characters that will have you hooked from the beginning till the very end. It's like a good episode of Supernatural, that you watch with the eyes glued to the screen. Well, in this case, you'll be glued to the pages.

This is another book that I simply couldn't stop reading! And now I'm eager to dive into the sequel.

If you are on a lookout for a gripping and addictive read that brings both originality and freshness to the table, The Angels and Demons series would be the perfect fit.
So go ahead and give it a try! Who knows, you might end up loving it just as much as I did.
