The Spirit Lens by Carol Berg

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

One of the best books I've read this year.
This was downright fabulous!

🕯Cool magic,
🕯a brilliant mystery,
🕯strong character development and an intriguing plot,
🕯a trio of unlikely heroes complete with a very likeable idiot and a brooding arrogant scoundrel, 😃
🕯quirky humor and edge of the seat action...
🕯This book here has it all and more!

A failed student of magic turned meek librarian, an arrogant magician turned outcast and hermit, and a foolish popinjay become unlikely allies when charged to investigate an attempted murder that has disturbing magical resonances. In an ever-shifting landscape of murders, betrayals, old secrets, and unholy sorcery, the three agentes will be forced to test the boundaries of magic, nature, and the divine...

Vile practices and unspeakable necromancy aimed at King and Crown in this first book of the Collegia Magica are only a few of the dangers the trio needs to face.

Peppered with quirky humor, and full of intriguing twists and turns, this first installment of the Collegia Magica series will give you a brilliant magical mystery complete with edge of the seat action, daring escapes, plots and counterplots, fabulous character development and an astonishingly vivid world.

🕯If you're a fan of magical mysteries, underdogs and unlikely allies, you have got to give this a try. 😍

I kid you not people!
You will NOT regret it!
It's really THAT GOOD!!🖤
