Book Review: Beast

This tale is not your average anything. It's different and original! It's dark and gritty! It's ugly and messy! Until it is not!
Jordan Marie gives us a beast and a beauty, but no traditional fairytale! Our beast is broken and scarred and ugly, both inside and out and he knows it. He gave up on life and forgot how to breathe without the pain.
And then we have Hayden; beautiful fragile Hayden. Our beauty from this tale is also broken.
Vulnerable and alone, she's also trying to hide from the horrors of her past because, just as our Best forgot his gentleness, she also forgot her strength.
One would expect this story to be one of the average bad boys bikers story but trust me. It isn't!
Yes, it is about bikers, but about their life outside the club.
One would expect the hero to be savior rushing to the aid of the damsel in distress! He does, but then he also doesn't! He needs to be rescued too, you see! And yet, he doesn't want to be saved!
I've picked up this duology after reading Devil, because someone mentioned Devil appears in this too. And I ended up loving the Beast more than the Devil!
This tale is a roller-coaster of emotions. You'll get real pissed and very sad, and then you'll end up laughing and sighing, just to have your heart broken in the end and yearn for the conclusion. So my advice folks, if you decide to read it: keep a pack of tissues ready and have the sequel close at hand because you're not going to be able to stop reading!
Beware: it packs a hell of a punch and won't hesitate to rip your heart out and turn you into an emotional wreck! But by the time you're through with it, you might just love it! I know I already do! :)
