Brew Play Love by Delong, Taylor

My rating: 5 adorable stars

Sweet, funny, quirky and endearing.

This here is a no-drama slow burn romance that will have you smiling every other page. And despite the lack of drama, it is both gripping and engaging.

An editor and a teacher, an addiction to coffee, a love for words and two hearts slowly given.
With a heaped spoon of dorkiness and fun along the way.

Liam is the poster child for addictive personality. He doesn't smoke, doesn't do drugs and keeps his alcohol intake to the minimum. But he can't get through the day without his fix of good coffee. And this is why the local coffee shop has become his preferred work spot where he spends hours editing novels for the authors he works with.

Jenna is just starting new. A new job in an unfamiliar place. She just accepted the local position of English teacher and, since she is also practically obsessed with everything coffee, the local coffee shop is a regular stop for her too.

The two of them inadvertently meet and something clicks. A connection sparks that makes them both want more. Jenna is obsessed with 'laptop guy's' dimples, while Liam keeps waiting for another glimpse of a 'random woman's' eyes. And the way they both stalk each other, tripping over their own feet is absolutely adorable.

It all becomes a game they play each morning, a habit, an addiction, just like their morning cup of java. And they both starts to crave more than stolen moments with each other. More than those granted by a chance encounter over coffee. Which was absolutely not a date. Because a date would imply that Liam would buy Jenna a coffee but she bought it for herself.

It's difficult to describe the charm and quirky sweetness of this tale without spoiling, so I'll settle for telling you this.

Brew Play Love is a fabulous feel good romance full of heart. Pace and wordbuilding are perfect, the setting is vivid and the characters are just as real as any reader out there. Feeling and emotion, dynamic and bonds - everything feels real. Not just in regard to the main cast of the novel, but for the secondary cast as well.

I loved the bonds between siblings, and the family relationships. Gramps is one grandfather anyone would wish to have and Jenna's mother is absolutely awesome! As for Liam and Jenna themselves, they are as cute and dorky and adorable as can be.

Family, love. support and quirky small town shenanigans, this book has a hefty dose of all of them. It is truly a book for the heart.
