Bookstore Nerd by Lena Frances

My rating: 4 🔥 hot 📚 bookworm 📚stars🔥

A quick hot read and I'll be watching for the next release by Lena Frances.

Franny was your regular bookstore manager, overworked, well-read, highly imaginative and undeniably awkward. Not the cute awkward though. And did I mention she was naturally clumsy, tripping and falling regularly and dropping things?!
Franny had a great relationship, unfortunately only in her head. And we all know how sad and miserable life can be when your boyfriend is only a figment of your imagination.

Luckily for Franny, her imaginary boyfriend was an actual person. A person who most likely didn't know that she existed beyond quiet hellos and handing him comics. But still, he was real.

Trent, the boyfriend in question, was the opposite of everything Franny. Big, hard, muscular and 🔥hot hot hot!🔥And we all know that a man like him wouldn't think twice about a dork like Franny. Or would he?

Trent has been pinning for the small little bookworm from the very first day he laid eyes on her. And he'll do anything to make her his. But he is affraid the little sexy bookworm will get spooked and bolt when she finds out who he really is. Because Trent is one of the big loaded guys that Franny resents.

So Trent comes up with a plan, to slowly draw his sexy bookworm in. But plans don't always work as they're supposed to and Trent may have just found his match.

Just give me a chance to be who you need each day. I saw how you took care of everyone around you and you never let anyone take care of you. I want that job.
The question is, will Franny agree?

I loved Franny because she seems so real and is so easy to identify with!! And Trent... Let me just say that, despite the fact that I too resent big loaded guys, this particular loaded Neanderthal did manage to get under my skin. :D

A great debut that I wish would have been longer, this sweet and steamy short story is perfect for all those in search of a hot read.
